How to track your review collection performance with magic links

Magic Links are the easiest way to take your review collection performance to the next level.

Magic links let you build one unique, shareable link for your entire team—and easily control its behavior from your reviewflowz account.

Set it once, update it anytime. Define smart objectives that automatically route customers to the right review platform. When your strategy changes, simply update your objectives in reviewflowz. Your link stays the same, so there's nothing else to change.

Say goodbye to constant updates. No more monthly campaigns. No more updating email signatures, newsletters, or support macros every time you want to adjust your approach.

Set up once, control forever. Add your magic link to all your marketing automation sequences, Zendesk macros, keyboard shortcuts, and internal documentation. Then manage what that link does from reviewflowz—without having to update anything or bother anyone on your team.

You can define three types of smart objectives for each review profile:

  1. Get as many reviews as possible : This one is pretty self-explanatory, it's a way to send reviews to that review profile with no condition.
  2. Maintain a target average rating: This objective type will send reviews to the selected review profile for as long as your average rating – as displayed by the review platform – on that review profile is below the target rating. Once the platform rating matches your target, the app will stop sending reviews to that review profile.
  3. Get a target # of 5 star reviews: This objective type will send reviews to the selected review profile for as long as the total # of 5 star reviews on that profile is below your target. Once you hit your target, the app will stop sending reviews to that review profile.

If you define multiple objectives, the app will randomly pick one among all the eligible objectives for every unique click.

Review collection rates

Magic links give you visibility into one of your most important metrics: review collection rate.

Track performance by platform. Magic links automatically monitor traffic to your review collection forms, counting every click, and breaking the count down based on the parameters that you use – like UTMs, customer IDs, etc.

Measure what matters. For each review profile, you'll see exactly how many clicks you need to collect one review on each platform. This tells you which platforms are converting best and helps define the "cost" component of your cost-benefit analysis to decide what review platforms to prioritize.

Review platform traffic broken down by source or segment

You can also define a list of whitelisted parameters that you want us to store.

This allows you to get a clear breakdown of the number of clicks you got for each location you shared the link (UTMs) or customer segment, or partner id, etc. etc.

You can even use those parameters to define conditional objectives. For example, if this user has downloaded the app on an iPhone, send them to the App Store, and if they've downloaded the Android app, send them to the Play Store.
