When a job in JobNimbus reaches a status that means the work is done, like Paid & Closed, Reviewflowz asks the job's primary contact for a review. The review that comes back is matched to that job and credited to its sales rep.
How it works
A job enters a status you ticked, Paid & Closed to start.
Within the hour, Reviewflowz reads the job, its primary contact and its sales rep.
The request goes out after your delay.
The customer's review is matched to the job, its location and the sales rep.
What triggers a request
Trigger | When it fires | Who is asked |
Job entered status Paid & Closed, or any status you tick | The job moves into that status in JobNimbus | The job's primary contact |
The trigger is on from the moment you connect and feeds one request, JobNimbus review requests. Tick the statuses that mean the work is done, Paid & Closed to start.
A job whose own end date is more than 7 days before it entered a ticked status, such as an old job moved to Paid & Closed during a cleanup, isn't asked. When the business or the customer is in the EU, the UK or Switzerland, the customer isn't asked.
Jobs from the last 90 days that already reached a ticked status are imported, so reviews you already have are matched to their job and sales rep. Nobody is messaged for those.
Connect JobNimbus
You need one thing: a JobNimbus API key you create for Reviewflowz.
Plan. API access is included in every JobNimbus plan.
Who. A JobNimbus admin who can open Settings creates the key.
How long. Right away: the key appears as soon as you create it.
In JobNimbus, click your profile icon or initials in the top right corner and choose Settings, then API. Select + Create New, enter Reviewflowz as the description and pick an Access Profile with Full and Settings access. Select Create, then Copy. JobNimbus shows the key only once. Your other keys and integrations keep working as they are. JobNimbus's own guide is How Do I Create an API Key?.
Paste the full key, not the shorter Key ID from your list of keys.
In Reviewflowz, open Integrations, go to the Automate Review Requests tab and click the JobNimbus card. If you already have an integration connected there, click Connect another integration first. Paste the key into JobNimbus API key and click Connect JobNimbus. Your JobNimbus locations fill the Locations list, and a draft request is ready for you to finish.
Link your locations
Under Locations, give each Location in JobNimbus the Reviewflowz location whose review profiles its customers should see. Ridgeline Roofing & Exteriors links each of its JobNimbus locations to its own Reviewflowz location. If your Reviewflowz account has one location, your JobNimbus location is linked to it for you the first time you connect. Jobs at a location you haven't linked use the Fall back to location.
Set up the request
Timing. A job counts from the moment it enters a ticked status, and your delay comes on top. Ridgeline emails 1 day later, then sends a reminder 7 days after that as Message 2, with the subject "One more thing about your project, {{first_name}}". Follow-ups stop once a customer clicks, reviews or unsubscribes.
Channel. Email, SMS or WhatsApp, set per message.
Message. Ridgeline's From name is "Ridgeline Roofing & Exteriors", the Subject "How does the new roof look, {{first_name}}?", which Liam Ortega reads as "How does the new roof look, Liam?", and the Button text "Review your project". Try yours with Send myself a test.
Direct reviews to. Smart routing gives one button, and your goal for reviews decides which site it opens. Ridgeline aims for as many Google reviews as possible. Show all options on the email lists every site instead.
Turn it on
Open JobNimbus review requests and click Turn requests on. The Syncing panel's Asking customers whose job reached a ticked status after shows when you connected.
When a job is deleted or moved back
If a job is deleted, or moved to a status you haven't ticked, such as Lost or back to Invoiced, before its request goes out, the request is withdrawn.
See what it brings back
Every review is matched to the customer and the job it came from, and credited to the job's sales rep. Tara Rowe's five star Google review, "After the hailstorm Jordan handled the whole insurance claim for us", lands on Jordan Bell. Reports > Dashboard > Team Attribution Leaderboard ranks your sales reps by the reviews they earn.
The Requests page counts Contacts, Requests, Clicked CTA, Matched and Stopped. The CRM Integration widget under Reports > Dashboard tracks requests, links clicked and reviews matched from JobNimbus.
Good to know
JobNimbus keys expire a year after you create them. Before then, create a new one under Settings, then API, and paste it with Replace key.
If JobNimbus refuses the key, because it has expired or its Access Profile no longer has Full and Settings access, the card says so. Create a new key and enter it with the button on the card. Your statuses, locations and request stay as they are.
The Syncing panel counts jobs whose customer can't be asked, such as one with no email or phone. They're still kept, so a review from that customer is matched by name.
Disconnect stops the checks and withdraws every request that hasn't gone out.
