Tekmetric sends a webhook each time a repair order is completed or posted. You connect it to Reviewflowz by adding your private Reviewflowz URL as a webhook in Tekmetric, so each repair order reaches us with its number, its status and the Tekmetric ids of its service writer and technician. Your customers' contact details are never part of it, and nothing is sent to your customers. It takes two minutes.
Get your private URL
Open Integrations and go to the Automate review requests tab. If you've already connected an integration, click Connect another integration first. Find the Tekmetric card, which reads "Connect Tekmetric with a private webhook URL".
Click the card. In the Connect Tekmetric window, click Get my webhook URL.
A confirmation tells you your URL is ready, and the card turns into your URL card. From then on it sits at the top of Automate review requests.
Add it in Tekmetric
Copy the URL under Your private Tekmetric webhook URL with the copy button.
In Tekmetric, sign in as an admin and open Settings, then Integrations.
Scroll to Webhooks and click Add Webhook. Enter Reviewflowz as the Webhook Name and paste your URL into Webhook URL.
Under Events, then Repair Orders, tick Complete Repair Order and Post Repair Order, then click Save.
Check that it's working
The card shows where things stand:
Status | What it means |
Waiting for the first repair order | Nothing has arrived yet. It changes as soon as a repair order is completed or posted. |
12 events received | Repair orders are arriving. Hover over it to see when the last one came in. |
No events in 180 days | Check that the Reviewflowz webhook is still saved under Settings, then Integrations, in Tekmetric. |
Get a new URL or disconnect
Open the ⋮ menu on the card.
New URL replaces your URL, and the old one stops working right away. Paste the new one into your Reviewflowz webhook in Tekmetric.
Disconnect stops your URL and deletes the Tekmetric repair orders we've received. Delete the Reviewflowz webhook in Tekmetric too.
Who can connect it
Only teammates with access to the whole account get the URL, change it or disconnect. A teammate limited to an access group sees "Ask an account admin to connect Tekmetric." on the card, with no button.
Good to know
Keep the URL private: it's the only key to your webhook. If it's shared by mistake, click New URL.
We keep each repair order's number, status, completed and posted dates, and the Tekmetric ids of its customer, service writer and technician, and delete them after 180 days. Names, contact details, notes, totals and vehicle details are never stored.
Nothing changes in Tekmetric: the webhook only sends us repair orders, and your other integrations keep working as before.
