When an inspection is marked complete in ISN (Inspection Support Network), Reviewflowz asks the client on the order for a review. The review that comes back is credited to the inspectors on the order.
How it works
An inspection is marked complete in ISN.
Within the hour, the client on the order becomes a contact in Reviewflowz, with the order and its inspectors.
The request goes out after your delay.
The client's review is matched to the order and credited to each inspector on it.
What triggers a request
Trigger | When it fires | Who is asked |
An inspection is completed | We check ISN every hour for orders marked complete | The client on the order |
The trigger is on from the moment you connect and feeds one request, ISN review requests.
Switch off email or text events on an order in ISN and that client isn't contacted that way.
We also import your last 90 days of completed inspections, so reviews you already have are matched and credited. Nobody is messaged for those.
Connect ISN
You need the Access Key and Secret Access Key ISN shows on its My Access Keys page. ISN doesn't need to approve anything.
In ISN, sign in as the company owner, open Settings, then My Access Keys, and copy the Access Key and Secret Access Key.
Don't click Generate New Keys: it replaces your keys, and every other tool that uses them, such as your report writer, stops working until you update it there.
Keys don't expire. ISN's own guide, Finding Access Keys in ISN, shows where they are.
In Reviewflowz, open Integrations, go to Automate review requests > Connect another integration and click the ISN card (search for "Inspection Support Network" if you don't see it). Fill in:
ISN address: the address you sign in to ISN at, ending in your company key, like inspectionsupport.com/keystonehome. A white-label address like 4isn.com/yourcompany works too. Your company key is also on ISN's My Access Keys page.
Access key and Secret access key.
Click Connect ISN, and we set up a draft request for you to finish.
Link your offices to locations
Under Locations, give each Office in ISN the Reviewflowz location whose review page its clients should see. Keystone Home Inspections links "Keystone Home Inspections - Denver" to its Keystone Home Inspections location. Inspections from an office you haven't linked use the Fall back to location. With one location, every office is linked to it for you. Added an office in ISN? Click Refresh list. If your account isn't set up by location, there's nothing to link.
Set up the request
Timing. Keystone emails 3 hours after an inspection is completed, then sends a reminder 3 days later. Up to 3 messages, and follow-ups stop once a client clicks, reviews or unsubscribes.
Channel. One per request: email, SMS or WhatsApp. A text goes to the client's mobile, or the home or work number when there's no mobile.
Message. Keystone's subject is "How did your inspection go, {{first_name}}?", which Jenna Harmon sees as "How did your inspection go, Jenna?", and the button reads "Review your inspection". Try yours with Send myself a test.
Direct reviews to. Smart routing gives one button and picks the site per client. Keystone aims for as many Google and Yelp reviews as possible. Show all options on the email lists every site instead.
Turn it on
Open ISN review requests and click Turn requests on. The Syncing panel's Sending requests for inspections completed since shows when you connected.
When an order is canceled
If an order is canceled or deleted in ISN before its request goes out, the request is withdrawn.
See what it brings back
The Requests page counts Contacts, Requests, Clicked CTA, Matched and Stopped. Rachel Ellison's 5-star Google review of Keystone is credited to Dana Whitcomb, the inspector on the order. An order with several inspectors credits each of them, and reassigning inspectors in ISN moves the credit on the next check.
The Team Attribution Leaderboard under Reports > Dashboard ranks your inspectors by the reviews they earn. The CRM Integration widget tracks requests, links clicked and reviews matched from ISN.
Good to know
Order notes, gate codes, the property address and fees are never stored.
If ISN stops accepting your key, the card turns red and asks you to enter the keys shown under Settings, then My Access Keys. Your request and locations stay as they are.
Use the owner's keys: they read every office, inspector and order.
A second ISN company on the same account gets its own request, named with its company key.
Disconnect stops the hourly check and withdraws every request that hasn't gone out. Contacts and history stay, and you can reconnect any time.
