Google only shows relative dates for reviews. Things like "3 days ago", "3 weeks ago", etc.

But there is a way to easily get the real review date, even without Google My Business access.

How to get exact review dates for Google Reviews when you don't have GMB access.

You can't.

Simple as that.

Some data providers work around the Google limitation with some convoluted calculations and approximations, but they're factually incorrect most of the time. The further you go in the past, the less accurate they are.

Others will have you install a Chrome extension or share cookie values to use your account for the scraping.

Be careful about those, you'd effectively be in breach of Google's terms of service, which is illegal, and could get you in trouble with Google as well ( you are identified through those cookies, this is not anonymous ).

In February 2026, Google made their reviews unavailable to logged out users, which effectively makes scraping Google reviews illegal, and extremely easy to detect (and block).

How to get Google reviews with their exact dates if you have GMB access

If you have Google My Business access to the listings you need reviews for, you can access some exact dates on Google's Business Profile Manager.

Unfortunately, Google only show absolute dates only for reviews older than a year ago. If you're after reviews from the past 12 months, for example from last month, Google will only give relative dates.

If you run contests and competitions with your team, if you want to know how well you're doing over last month, or if you just need to understand when a specific review was posted, this won't cut it.

This is where Reviewflowz's free trial comes in.

After signing up, you'll be prompted to connect to your Google My Business account, and you'll be able to pull reviews from all available locations, with exact dates for the reviews, and for the replies.

You'll be able to export that data to excel, although free trials only come with 20 row samples.

You also get a clear breakdown of when reviews were collected, what their average rating was, and how it affected your total number of reviews, and the overall Google rating:

  • When the red line is above the purple line, the overall rating was improving

  • When the red line is below the purple line, the overall rating was decreasing
