Reviewflowz sets up review requests from your Ovatu appointments. You create an app in Ovatu and send us its Client ID and Client secret. Our team connects it and emails you when your requests can go out.
Connect Ovatu
The Ovatu account owner does this, because only the owner can see the app's secret.
In Ovatu:
Open Account, then Developer, and click Create new app.
Name it Reviewflowz.
Under Who does this app act as?, choose Application.
Under Interfaces, choose API.
Under Access limit, choose Read only.
Save it, then copy the Client ID and the Client secret from Connection details.
Never press Rotate secret afterwards: the old secret stops working at once. Create a new app for Reviewflowz rather than reusing one another tool uses.
If Developer isn't in your Account menu, ask Ovatu at [email protected] for API access, and paste this:
Hello, please switch on API access (the Developer page under Account) for our Ovatu account, [your business name], so we can create an app for Reviewflowz.
In Reviewflowz, open Integrations, go to the Automate Review Requests tab and click the Ovatu card. If you already have an integration connected there, click Connect another integration first. In the Connect Ovatu window, paste the Client ID and Client secret and click Send details.
A confirmation tells you our team is connecting Ovatu and will email you when it's done.
While we set it up
The Ovatu card shows Setting up and the day your App details received. The card reads "We're setting up Ovatu for you". Nothing is sent to your customers until we email you that your requests are ready.
Good to know
Pasted the wrong pair, or created a new app? Click Replace details on the card and paste the new Client ID and Client secret. They replace the ones we have.
The secret is stored encrypted and never displayed back.
Disconnect stops the setup. Your app details stay stored, so Reconnect picks up where you left off.
A second Ovatu account connects the same way, with its own app.
