SkySlope integration: review requests when a transaction is closed

Connect SkySlope with the brokerage's API service and a Broker or Admin key, ask the agent's clients for a review when a transaction is closed, and credit the agents on the file.

When your Admin or Broker closes a file in SkySlope, Reviewflowz asks the agent's clients for a review. The review that comes back is matched to that transaction and credited to the agents on it, when the file names one.

How it works

  1. A transaction is closed in SkySlope: Transaction Actions, then Close Transaction.

  2. At the next hourly read, Reviewflowz picks up the file, the clients on the agent's side and the agents.

  3. The request goes out after your delay.

  4. The client's review is matched to the transaction and credited to the primary agent and the co-agents.

The agent's own clients on the file

The trigger is on from the moment SkySlope is connected and feeds one request, SkySlope review requests. The agent's own clients are asked: the buyers on a purchase, the sellers on a listing, both on a double-ended deal, by the email and phone on the file. A sale closed late in SkySlope is still asked, within 30 days of its closing date. Clients aren't asked when your brokerage or the client is in the EU, the UK or Switzerland.

Closings from the 90 days before you connected are imported so their reviews still match. Nobody is messaged for those.

Connect SkySlope

You connect with four values: two from SkySlope's API service, two you generate yourself.

  • Client ID and Client Secret. They come with your brokerage's SkySlope API service. Ask your SkySlope Customer Success Manager for API access, sign SkySlope's API Order Form, and SkySlope sends the Client ID and Client Secret in a password protected zip file, with the password sent separately to your technical contact. For questions, SkySlope support is at [email protected] or 1-800-507-4117.

  • Access Key and Secret. A Broker or Admin signs in to SkySlope, clicks their name in the upper right corner, then My Account, then the Integrations tab, and clicks Generate New Key. Copy the Access Key and the Secret: SkySlope shows the Secret once. Your other keys keep working as they are. SkySlope's own guide is Integrations Tab Available for SkySlope Suite Users.

In Reviewflowz, open Integrations, go to the Automate Review Requests tab and click the SkySlope card. If you already have an integration connected there, click Connect another integration first. Paste the four values into Client ID, Client Secret, Access Key and Secret, and click Connect SkySlope. The Connection card lists your SkySlope offices with Status: Connected.

Link your offices to locations

Under Offices, give each Office in SkySlope the Reviewflowz location whose review profiles its clients should see. Golden Oak Realty links its Midtown and Folsom offices to the locations of the same name. A file in an office you haven't linked, or in no office, uses the location in Fall back to. If your Reviewflowz account has one location, every office is linked to it for you the first time you connect. Opened an office? Click Refresh list and link it.

Set up the request

  • Timing. A transaction counts from the moment Reviewflowz sees it closed, and your delay comes on top. Golden Oak Realty emails 3 days later, then sends a reminder 7 days after that with the subject "A minute for Golden Oak Realty, {{first_name}}?" and the button "Leave a review". Follow-ups stop once a client clicks, reviews or unsubscribes.

  • Channel. Email, SMS or WhatsApp, set per message.

  • Message. Golden Oak Realty's From name is "Golden Oak Realty", the Subject "Congratulations on your closing, {{first_name}}!", which Jordan Ellis reads as "Congratulations on your closing, Jordan!", and the Button text "Review your agent". Try yours with Send myself a test.

  • Direct reviews to. Smart routing gives one button, and your goal for reviews decides which site it opens. Golden Oak Realty aims for as many Google and Yelp reviews as possible. Show all options on the email lists every site instead.

Turn it on

Open SkySlope review requests and click Turn requests on. The status line reads "Sending requests to every new contact", and the Syncing panel's Asking clients whose transaction closed after shows the day you connected.

If a closed file is reopened or cancelled, or a client is removed from it, before the request goes out, the request is withdrawn.

See what it brings back

Every review is matched to the client and the transaction it came from, and credited to the agents on that file. Elena Bryant's five star review, "Calm, organised and always one step ahead of escrow. Thank you, Ben!", lands on Ben Okafor. Reports > Dashboard > Team Attribution Leaderboard counts the reviews credited to each agent, Maya Torres, Priya Nair and Ben Okafor at Golden Oak Realty. The Requests page counts Contacts, Requests, Clicked CTA, Matched and Stopped, and the CRM Integration widget under Reports > Dashboard tracks requests, links clicked and reviews matched from SkySlope.

Good to know

  • Don't delete the key you generated in SkySlope: deleting it disconnects Reviewflowz. If the card shows Reconnect needed, generate a new key under My Account, then Integrations, and enter it with Enter new credentials. Your office links and your request stay as they are.

  • Generate the key as a Broker or Admin.

  • The Syncing panel counts clients who can't be asked, such as a file with no email or phone, or a trust or company. They're still kept, so a review from them is matched by name.

  • Disconnect stops the reads and withdraws every request that hasn't gone out.
