When a visit is completed, a job is closed or an invoice is paid in Jobber, Reviewflowz asks the client for a review. You pick the moments, and the client is asked once. The review that comes back is matched to that work and credited to the team member who did the visit.
How it works
You switch on the moments you want to ask about.
A visit is completed, a job is closed or an invoice is paid in Jobber, and Jobber tells Reviewflowz as it happens.
The request goes out to the client after your delay.
The client's review is matched to the work and credited to the team member on the visit.
What triggers a request
Trigger | When it fires | Who is asked |
A visit is completed | A visit is marked complete in Jobber | The client on the visit |
A job is closed | The job moves to Requires invoicing or Archived | The client on the job |
An invoice is paid | The invoice is paid in full | The client on the invoice |
All three are off when you connect, so you choose. Every row feeds the same review request, Jobber, so a client is asked once, at whichever moment comes first. A job closed with no completed visit is never asked.
Clients aren't asked when your business or the client is in the EU, the UK or Switzerland. Switch off Ask for a review on a client in Jobber and that client isn't asked.
We also import your last 90 days of completed visits, closed jobs and paid invoices, so reviews you already have are matched to their work and team member. Nobody is messaged for those.
Connect Jobber
There is nothing to copy or paste. A Jobber admin approves Reviewflowz on Jobber's own page, and it works right away.
In Reviewflowz, open Integrations, go to the Automate Review Requests tab and click the Jobber card. If you already have an integration connected there, click Connect another integration first.
In Jobber, the card opens Jobber's own page. Sign in as a Jobber admin, check what Reviewflowz can view, and click Allow Access. Only admin users can connect apps in Jobber.
Jobber's own page, shown with a sample app
Back in Reviewflowz, the Connection card shows your Jobber account, like Northwind Lawn & Gutter, with Status Connected. You can see and remove Reviewflowz any time in Jobber's App Marketplace. Jobber's own guide is App Marketplace.
Pick your location
Under Locations, set Clients are served from to the Reviewflowz location whose review profiles your clients should see. If your Reviewflowz account has one location, it's picked for you the first time you connect. With several locations, pick the right one. Run more than one Jobber account? Connect each one separately and pick its location.
Set up the request
Timing. Your delay counts from the visit, the close or the payment, whichever triggered the request. Northwind Lawn & Gutter emails 1 day later, then sends a reminder 3 days after that as Message 2, with the subject "How did we do, {{first_name}}?". Follow-ups stop once a client clicks, reviews or unsubscribes.
Channel. Email, SMS or WhatsApp, set per message. Texts go to numbers that receive messages in Jobber.
Message. Northwind's From name is "Northwind Lawn & Gutter", the Subject "Thanks for having us out, {{first_name}}", which Hannah Webb reads as "Thanks for having us out, Hannah", and the Button text "Review our work". Try yours with Send myself a test.
Direct reviews to. Smart routing gives one button, and your goal for reviews decides which site it opens. Northwind aims for as many Google and Yelp reviews as possible. Show all options on the email lists every site instead.
Turn it on
Switch on the triggers you want under "What triggers a review request". Then open the Jobber request and click Turn requests on. The Syncing panel's Asking clients served after shows when you connected.
When a visit, job or invoice changes
If a visit is marked incomplete, a job is reopened or an invoice is no longer paid, or any of them is deleted, before the request goes out, the request is withdrawn.
See what it brings back
Every review is matched to the client and the work it came from, and credited to the team member assigned to the visit. Elliot Holt's five star Google review, "Jess explained everything and cleaned up after. Five stars.", lands on Jess Park. Reports > Dashboard > Team Attribution Leaderboard ranks your team by the reviews they earn.
The Requests page counts Contacts, Requests, Clicked CTA, Matched and Stopped. The CRM Integration widget under Reports > Dashboard tracks requests, links clicked and reviews matched from Jobber.
Good to know
If Reviewflowz is disconnected in Jobber's App Marketplace, or the admin who connected it is deactivated in Jobber, Jobber tells us, the connection is switched off and requests that haven't gone out are withdrawn. Reconnect it from the Jobber card, signed in as a Jobber admin.
The Syncing panel counts clients who can't be asked, such as a client with no email or phone. They're still kept, so a review from that client is matched by name.
Disconnect in Reviewflowz, or Disconnect on the Reviewflowz page in Jobber's App Marketplace, stops the reads and withdraws every request that hasn't gone out.
