When an appointment reaches Paid/Complete in Booker, or a client pays for a purchase without an appointment, Reviewflowz asks that client for a review. A review of an appointment is credited to whoever did the treatment, and your Team Attribution Leaderboard shows which of your team earn your reviews.
How it works
A client checks out and the appointment reaches Paid/Complete in Booker, or a client pays for products or a gift card without an appointment.
Reviewflowz picks it up from Booker within a couple of hours, and the client becomes a contact.
The request goes out after your delay.
The client's review is matched to the appointment and credited to whoever did the treatment.
What triggers a request
Trigger | When it fires | Who is asked | Credit goes to |
An appointment is Paid/Complete | The appointment reaches Paid/Complete, the status Booker gives it at checkout | The client on the appointment | Whoever did the treatment |
A purchase without an appointment is paid | A purchase of products or gift cards is paid with no appointment | The client who paid | No staff credit |
Both are on from the moment you connect and feed one request, Booker visits and purchases, so a client who has a treatment and buys a product is asked once. A purchase paid at an appointment's checkout belongs to that appointment. Renamed Paid/Complete in Booker? It still counts. Clients who paid through Groupon, ClassPass or another partner are asked too.
When you connect or link your Booker location, its last 90 days of appointments and purchases are imported so reviews can be matched and credited. Nobody is messaged for those.
Connect Booker
You connect by signing in to Booker. There's no key to copy and nothing to ask Booker for, so you're connected right away. Sign in with a login for the location you want to connect. Run several locations? Connect each one with its own login.
In Reviewflowz, open Integrations and go to the Automate Review Requests tab. If you already have an integration connected there, click Connect another integration first. Search for Booker and click the Booker card.
In Booker, the sign-in page opens. Sign in with the login for your location, then allow Reviewflowz.
Back in Reviewflowz, Booker is connected and your request is waiting for you in Requests.
Link your Booker location
Each Booker connection reads one location. Under Location in Booker, link it to the Reviewflowz location whose review profiles its clients should see. Until it's linked, its appointments and purchases aren't read. If your Reviewflowz account has one location, Booker is linked to it when you connect. Saltwater Day Spa at 7840 Girard Ave, La Jolla, is linked to its Saltwater Day Spa location.
Set up the request
Timing. Send message sets when Message 1 goes out. Saltwater Day Spa picked As soon as possible.
Channel. Saltwater picks Email under Select a channel.
Message. The From name is "Saltwater Day Spa", the Subject "Thanks for visiting Saltwater, {{first_name}}", which Samuel reads as "Thanks for visiting Saltwater, Samuel", and the Button text "Review your visit". Try yours with Send myself a test.
Direct reviews to. Smart routing gives one button, and your goal for reviews decides which site it opens. Saltwater aims to get as many Google reviews as possible. Show all options on the email lists all your review sites instead.
Turn it on
The Booker visits and purchases request starts as a draft. Finish it, then open it in Requests, click Turn requests on, then Turn on. The Syncing panel's Asking clients served or paid after shows the day you connected. An appointment or purchase from before that day is kept for matching and never asked.
Cancellations and refunds
If an appointment is cancelled, marked a no-show, taken back out of Paid/Complete or its checkout is refunded in full, or a purchase is deleted or refunded in full, before the request goes out, the request is withdrawn.
See what it brings back
The Requests page counts Contacts, Requests, Clicked CTA, Matched and Stopped. Grace Okafor's Google review of Saltwater Day Spa is credited to Marisol Vega, the esthetician on the appointment. Reports > Dashboard > Team Attribution Leaderboard ranks your team by the reviews credited to them, with Marisol Vega on 6, Devon Hale on 3 and Keiko Arai on 2. The CRM Integration widget with the Booker pill tracks New Requests, Links clicked and Reviews Matched from Booker.
Good to know
In the EU, the UK and Switzerland, a client is asked when they agreed to promotional emails or texts in Booker.
If the login that connected Booker loses access to the location, or Reviewflowz is removed from it in Booker, the card turns red. Click Authorize Booker again and sign in with a login for that location. Your trigger and location link are kept.
When you connect more than one Booker location, each request's name carries its location's name in brackets, so you can tell them apart in Requests.
The Connection card shows the Booker location and its Booker Location ID.
Disconnect stops reading Booker and cancels the requests that haven't gone out. Your contacts, trigger and location link stay, and you can reconnect any time.
