When an appointment is finished in Booksy, Reviewflowz asks the client for a review. The review that comes back is matched to the appointment and credited to the barber or stylist who did it.
How it works
An appointment is finished in Booksy.
Within the hour, Reviewflowz reads the appointment, its client and who did each service.
The request goes out after your delay.
The client's review is matched to the appointment, the business and the staff member.
What triggers a request
Trigger | When it fires | Who is asked |
An appointment is finished | The appointment is finished in Booksy | The client on the appointment |
The trigger is on from the moment you connect and feeds one request, Booksy appointment finished. The client is asked using the email and phone on the appointment, or on their client card.
Clients in the EU, the UK or Switzerland aren't asked.
Appointments that finished before you connected are imported so their reviews still match. Nobody is messaged for those.
Connect Booksy
There's nothing to copy or paste: you sign in to Booksy and approve Reviewflowz. You need the login you use to run your business in Booksy: the owner's, or a staff login whose access shows the calendar and clients.
In Reviewflowz, open Integrations, go to the Automate review requests tab and click the Booksy card. If you already have an integration connected there, click Connect another integration first. In the Connect Booksy window, pick Your Booksy country and click Connect Booksy.
In Booksy, sign in with that login and approve Reviewflowz. You land back in Reviewflowz with your Booksy businesses listed, and a draft request ready for you to finish.
Link your businesses to locations
Under Locations, give each Business in Booksy the Reviewflowz location whose review profiles its clients should see. Copper Comb links Copper Comb Fishtown, on Frankford Ave, and Copper Comb Northern Liberties, on N 2nd St, to their own locations. A business you leave unlinked isn't read. With one business and one location, they're linked for you when you connect. Opened a new business in Booksy? Click Refresh list and link it.
Set up the request
Timing. An appointment counts from its end time, and your delay comes on top. Copper Comb emails 3 hours after the appointment, then sends a reminder 3 days later with the subject "How's the cut holding up, {{first_name}}?". Up to 3 messages, and follow-ups stop once a client clicks, reviews or unsubscribes.
Channel. Email, SMS or WhatsApp, set per message.
Message. Copper Comb's From name is "Copper Comb", the Subject "Thanks for coming in, {{first_name}}", which Jordan Ellis reads as "Thanks for coming in, Jordan", and the Button text "Review your cut". Try yours with Send myself a test.
Direct reviews to. Smart routing gives one button, and your goal for reviews decides which site it opens. Copper Comb aims for as many Google and Yelp reviews as possible. Show all options on the email lists every site instead.
Turn it on
Open Booksy appointment finished and click Turn requests on. The Syncing panel's Asking clients whose appointment finished after shows the day you connected.
When an appointment is cancelled or a no-show
If an appointment is cancelled, declined or marked a no-show before its request goes out, the request is withdrawn.
See what it brings back
A review is credited to the staff member on the Booksy appointment, even when the client names nobody. Carlos Kowalski's 5-star Yelp review of Copper Comb Fishtown is credited to Marcus Hill, the barber on the appointment. The Team Attribution Leaderboard under Reports > Dashboard ranks Tasha Grant, Marcus Hill and Dee Alvarez by the reviews they earn.
The Requests page counts Contacts, Requests, Clicked CTA, Matched and Stopped. The CRM Integration widget tracks requests, links clicked and reviews matched from Booksy.
Good to know
If Reviewflowz says your login has no business it can read, or can't see the business's appointments, connect again signed in as the business owner.
If Booksy stops accepting the connection, the card shows Reconnect needed. Click Authorize Booksy again and sign in with the login you use to run your business. Your trigger and location links are kept.
The Syncing panel counts finished appointments with no client email or phone, such as a walk-in. They're still kept, so a review can be matched to them by date and staff member.
Disconnect stops the reads and withdraws every request that hasn't gone out.
